Trump’s Truth Social to Launch Regulated Prediction Market With Crypto.com

Truth Social will soon let its users make predictions on politics, sports, and global events — all from within the social media app, according to a recent press release.

Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), which operates Truth Social, Truth+, and Truth.Fi, announced an exclusive partnership with Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA) to introduce prediction markets on the platform. CDNA is a CFTC-registered exchange and clearinghouse, giving the project a federally compliant base in the United States.

The new feature, called Truth Predict, will make Truth Social the first social media platform to integrate native prediction markets.

How Truth Predict Works

Truth Predict will allow users to trade event-based contracts — bets tied to real-world outcomes. These may include:

• Political elections, including the U.S. presidential race
• Economic data such as inflation or interest rate changes
• Commodity prices, including gold and crude oil
• Major sports events across global leagues

Prices will update in real-time, so users can adjust their positions as news develops.

Devin Nunes, CEO of Trump Media, said the goal is to give users a way to engage with news beyond traditional discussions. 

“Truth Predict will allow our loyal users to engage in prediction markets with a trusted network while harnessing our social media platform to provide totally unique ways for users to discuss and compare their predictions,” Nunes said.

Integration With Crypto.com

Under the deal, event contracts will be offered via CDNA, which operates under U.S. regulatory oversight. This partnership ensures that all prediction market activity on Truth Social remains compliant with CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission) regulations.

Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek said the collaboration represents a natural fit between social engagement and market forecasting. 

“Truth Predict will provide customers with a powerful tool related to market sentiment on an unlimited number of events,” Marszalek said. “We are thrilled to integrate Truth Social’s truly pioneering social media platform and technology with our industry-leading technology and regulated prediction market trading.”

Crypto.com will provide the backend technology for prediction market trading, while Truth Social will deliver the user interface and social engagement features.

Turning Social Engagement Into Predictive Power

One key feature will link Truth Social’s “gems” reward system to Crypto.com’s ecosystem.

Users who earn Truth gems by posting, commenting, or streaming content on Truth Social or Truth+ will be able to convert them into Crypto.com’s native token, Cronos (CRO). These tokens can then be used to buy Truth Predict contracts.

This link between engagement rewards and trading marks Trump Media’s deeper move into financial services. Earlier this year, the company announced plans to form Trump Media Group CRO Strategy, Inc., focusing on digital asset management through a SPAC merger with Yorkville Acquisition Corp (Nasdaq: MCGA).

Beta Launch and Rollout

Truth Predict will begin beta testing on Truth Social soon, followed by a full U.S. launch. After meeting global compliance standards, Trump Media plans to expand the service internationally.

The company emphasized that Truth Predict will follow all necessary financial and consumer regulations before a global rollout.

Trump Media recently reported over $3 billion in financial assets and achieved its first quarter of positive cash flow since going public, setting it well to fund expansion.
