Predict.fun has completed the acquisition of Probable, a competing on-chain prediction market built on BNB Chain. The deal was announced on March 4, 2026, and brings the entire Probable team in-house. No valuation was disclosed.
Both platforms are BNB Chain natives, making this a straight ecosystem consolidation. Probable confirmed the move on X with a pinned post: "A New Chapter Starts Now: Probable is Joining @predictdotfun."
What is Predict.fun?
Predictdotfun launched in December 2025 on BNB Chain with backing from YZi Labs. Since then, it has posted $1.5 billion in cumulative trading volume, 120,000+ users, and 3.3 million transactions. The platform combines yield-bearing positions with advanced market architecture and has positioned itself as the fastest-growing on-chain prediction market on the chain.
What Was Probable?
Probable was originally incubated by PancakeSwap and YZi Labs, running a CLOB-based prediction market with UMA settlement. It covered sports, esports, crypto, and politics, with a particularly strong foothold in Asian markets. No separate lifetime volume figure was attached to the acquisition announcement.
The shared YZi Labs lineage makes this a tidy internal consolidation rather than a hostile takeover. Both teams were already operating within the same BNB ecosystem, and Probable's PancakeSwap roots run deep.
What Are the Deal Terms?
The structure is all-stock with full team integration. No cash terms, no token swap, and no public valuation. Probable users will migrate to Predictdotfun, and the platform has published a clear set of user incentives to smooth that transition.
Migration perks for Probable users:
- 2x return on any USDT trading fees paid on Probable as of March 3, 2026
- Probable Points convert to Predict Points at 1:1 for weeks 1 through 6 post-migration
- That rate rises to 1:10 (1 Probable Point = 10 Predict Points) for weeks 7 through 10
- To claim, users must link accounts by withdrawing USDT directly from Probable to their Predict account on BNB Chain (one Probable account per Predict account; 90-day window). Predictdotfun will then credit the 2x fees and converted points.
Note: Probable's own Medium post cited a flat 1:2 conversion ratio, which conflicts with the tiered structure on Predictdotfun's official blog. Neither team has publicly clarified the discrepancy as of publication. Predictdotfun's blog is the authoritative reference for the claim process, so users should follow those terms.
Predictdotfun says there will be no immediate disruption to open positions or existing accounts during the transition.
Why Does This Matter for BNB Chain?
This deal removes a direct competitor and consolidates liquidity, user base, and technical talent under one roof inside the BNB Chain prediction market vertical. Predictdotfun gains Probable's Asian market reach and its team's market design expertise. Probable gets Predictdotfun's distribution and execution infrastructure.
Predictdotfun founder Dingaling framed it plainly: "Prediction markets live or die by their liquidity architecture and market design. This acquisition accelerates our progress toward building the most capital-efficient forecasting infrastructure in the world."
The Probable team echoed that: "Our vision has always been to push forward market design innovation. Joining forces with Predictdotfun gives us the distribution, liquidity, and execution layer to scale that vision meaningfully."
For BNB Chain specifically, having two competing prediction platforms splitting liquidity and users is a drag on both. A single platform with combined volume, a unified user base, and tighter ecosystem ties to YZi Labs and PancakeSwap puts the BNB prediction market vertical in a stronger position relative to competitors on other chains.
What Happens Next?
Protocol-level changes, including updates to liquidity architecture, market design, and Predictdotfun's multi-source yield engine, are described as priorities but no specific roadmap has been released. The valuation question will likely remain unanswered. All-stock deals in crypto acquisitions often skip public disclosure entirely, particularly when both parties share common backers.
