Bybit Launches 800,000 USDC Campaign for Traders and Stakers

Bybit is running a new promotion that splits an 800,000 USDC prize pool between two groups: those who actively trade the stablecoin and those who prefer to stake it for yield.

The campaign, which opened today and runs through March 6, 2026, lets registered users pick between a "Trade Team" and a "Stake Team," each with its own dedicated portion of the rewards. Participants aren't locked into one path either; they can take part in both activities and earn from both pools simultaneously, giving users flexibility regardless of their preferred strategy.

The structure is straightforward. Traders accumulate points at a rate of one per every 500 USDC in trading volume. Stakers earn at a faster per-dollar rate, with one point awarded for every 100 USDC committed through Bybit's Fixed Savings product on a 21-day term or the MNT/USDC Alpha Farming pool. The more points a user racks up relative to their team, the larger their proportional cut of the prize pool. Stakers also collect a 6% fixed APR on top of whatever campaign rewards they earn, adding a layer of predictable returns to the promotion.

The dual-track setup is designed to appeal to different user profiles. Bybit described the campaign as catering "to a broad spectrum of participants, from active traders seeking to leverage market movements to yield-focused users who prefer a more measured, savings-driven approach."

USDC itself continues to hold a central role in crypto markets as one of the most widely used stablecoins. Issued by Circle and fully backed by US dollar reserves, it offers the price stability of fiat paired with the speed of blockchain settlement. That combination has made it a go-to asset for both retail and institutional users looking to park capital, move between positions, or generate passive income without direct exposure to crypto price swings. Its transparency and regulatory standing have also helped it maintain trust during periods when other stablecoins have faced scrutiny.

For Bybit, the campaign serves as both a user acquisition tool and a showcase for its stablecoin-related products, including its savings and farming features. By framing the promotion around two distinct strategies, the exchange is essentially highlighting the different ways users can put USDC to work on its platform beyond simple spot trading.

The exchange, which ranks second globally by trading volume and serves over 80 million users, has been steadily expanding its product suite across spot trading, DeFi integrations, and structured yield offerings. Campaigns like this one fit into that broader push to deepen engagement with existing users while attracting new ones who may be more interested in yield generation than active trading.
